When you enter a Washington Post Live (“WPL”) event or program, you enter an area where photography, filming, and/or recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you consent to such photography, filming, audio and video recording and to the use of your appearance, photograph, likeness, and/or voice by The Washington Post (“TWP”), its affiliates, and related lines of business, including WPL, and anyone authorized by them, for any purpose whatsoever in connection with WPL or its events, including but not limited to advertising or promoting the event(s) you attended, similar WPL events in the future, or WPL’s general capabilities, in any and all media, including by way of example TWP’s website, apps, social platforms and print products, throughout the world in perpetuity.

By entering the event premises, you release TWP, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability or obligations to you of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the taking, recording, publication, distribution or other use of such photographs, video and/or sound recordings, including but not limited to any liability for defamation, violations of rights of privacy or publicity, infringement of copyright, or any other right respecting the consent provided herein. You further waive all rights you may have to any claims for any royalty or other consideration in connection with any publication or use of these materials, and you waive any right you may have to inspect and/or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by TWP or the person or entity designated to do so by TWP.

You understand that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent and release. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
