The advocacy group PEN America, along with Penguin Random House, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against the school district and board in Escambia County, Fla., challenging decisions to restrict or remove books from school libraries. The other plaintiffs include five authors of books for children and young adults, as well as two parents whose children attend schools in the district.
