There is no denying the appearance. Former FBI director James B. Comey was photographed entering and leaving the New York Times building in Manhattan on Thursday by the Daily Mail, suggesting he might have provided journalists with additional — and possibly damaging — information about President Trump.
Recall that Comey testified earlier this month that he directed a friend to share with the Times a memo in which he documented Trump's desire for the FBI to drop an investigation of former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Comey also said that he thought publication of his memo might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.
