Get them while they’re hot.

If you’re looking for a way to make that Metro commute a little less monotonous, Jason Mendelson has a solution for you.

Mendelson, the Virginia song writer who was so inspired by his jaunts on Metro he decided to write a series of songs about the beleaguered transit system, is releasing his first CD.

For a mere $5 you can groove to his first collection, "Mostly Blue", featuring such soon-to-be-classics as "Braddock Road" or "Pentagon." Mendelson is making only 100 copies so if transit rock is your passion, you might want to act fast. Action Music in Falls Church is the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer for the collection.

However, if you prefer, electronic delivery of Mendelson’s first 12 tunes is available for $2.50.
