Regarding the Nov. 14 news article "Trump taps skeptic of climate change to oversee EPA transition":

To lead his transition team’s plans for the Environmental Protection Agency, President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Myron Ebell, a “Washington fixture” whose lobbying efforts have reportedly been funded by Koch Industries, ExxonMobil and Murray Energy, one of the nation’s largest coal companies. Mr. Trump’s supporters should be outraged. He campaigned on a pledge to “drain the swamp,” a promise so central to his candidacy that he aggressively promoted it with a hashtag (#draintheswamp). Yet with the selection of Mr. Ebell, that promise appears to have been a lie. Rather than draining the swamp, the president-elect is already swimming in it.
